FNO Toronto 2012

Posted on September 19, 2012December 13, 2014 by Elaine
***warning – this post is picture heavy!***

So I’ve finally had a chance to recap my Fashion’s Night Out! Ashley and I had a blast, we concentrated on Yorkville as we didn’t want to be out too late!

Our first stop was the newly launched Aime Boutique.

Aime Luxury FNO
This was one of my favorite dresses from the new collection which was available for pre order that night:

Other pieces from the collection:

The Aveda Institute was on hand providing quick hair and makeup touch up and hand massages!

A stylish attendee:

And the designer Monica Mei and moi!

Next we were off to Hazelton Lanes to the Master Card Stylicity lounge. I snapped this photo from above before a security guard told me no photos. Which I thought was strange since everyone on the floor was snapping away.
IMG_1495We headed downstairs to where the action was and I was so happy to run into Rhia Amio working FNO with Maybelline!Rhia at FNO

Another highlight was meeting the one and only Jeanne Beker! Ash and I got to snap a photo with her because we were Master Card holders!

Next we headed to Bloor Street and Holt Renfrew where they were throwing a massive street party to celebrate FNO and their 175th anniversary.

I hate pop but was dying of thirst and they were giving away diet cokes with special edition Holt Renfrew labels.

As Ashley and I were sipping away we realized there was a huge line up to get a diet coke and we totally butted in by accident!! Ooops!

Afterwards we stopped by H&M across the street. For FNO they had a “for every $50 spent get $10 off” deal going on. We both did not leave empty handed 😉
While in H&M I spotted this lady who also happened to be petite in the cutest dress ever! So I asked to take a photo with her.
IMG_1501Don’t you love the pockets?!? Turns out she works at Holt Renfrew and this was her uniform!!!  Ummm I want a cute uniform like that!!!!The night was winding down and Ashley and I were getting super tired to we decided to end the night there.

As we left the confetti at the Holt Renfrew party was released and the building was lit up:

So pretty!

So that was mine and Ash’s FNO 2012 adventure! Looking forward to next year – though I might have to take a day off the next day so I can hit all the venues 😉

  • Been a bit busy lately I’m overwhelmed with love and gratitude - we feel so lucky to have had such an amazing celebration! Took us a decade, but it was definitely worth the wait! A few folks to thank: @alexa.studios is an angel on this earth and an incredibly talented photographer who managed to capture our essence and make us look fabulous @karinalemkeweddings helped us plan a beautiful, colorful, and intimate event, handling all the last-minute drama so I could just relax and enjoy myself @themarryinglady created a ceremony with the perfect vibe for us: romantic and silly and heartfelt
  • You *know* I had to! Once I had my wedding hair & makeup trial, I put the look TO WORKKK! ✏️ To get a sense of how my look would perform on my wedding day, I did: ✅ a humidity test ✅ a transfer test ✅ a kiss test ✅ a food test ✅ a crying test ✅ an exertion test It was a ton of fun and really gave me a sense of how the look would handle the various stresses of a wedding day. The tests showed what worked well and where we needed to make some small

  • Happy Gotcha Day to the cutest, most annoying fur baby there ever was. Two years feels like it’s gone by in an instant, and yet I can hardly remember what life was like before you came into our lives. Here’s to many more years of couch snuggles, hikes, vegan wheat-free treats, playdates with your bestie @ripley_the_terrier, and sleepovers with @llabc.ca when Adam & I need a break We love you, Goose. : First pic is by the insanely talented @alexa.studios —————————————————————————— #gotchaday #torontodogs #dogstagram #torontowedding #distillerydistrict #mytbrfave #torontobeautyreviews #tbrcontributors
