Jeanne Beker X The Shoe Company

Posted on May 1, 2014December 13, 2014 by Elaine

I’m sure you’ve heard that Jeanne Beker has launched a shoe collection at The Shoe Company right?

I had the chance to attend the launch with Chic Darling and yes of course I got another photo to add to my “collection”.

Of course you know if Jeanne Beker is designing a collection it will be classic, chic but oh so wearable.

Proceeds from this classic red pump were donated to Dress for Success Canada.

Peep toe pumps in nude and black are a great addition that are great for the office and for nights out on the town.

These sexy shoes are too high for me personally but I love that they will work with basically any outfit and add that something “special”.

These were my favourite shoes from the collection but I can’t do anything with snake skin. I love the colour, the ankle strap and the heel height. A great shoe for spring!

The accessories in the collection were great too. I love this statement bag – this pop of red will work so well with any neutral outfit and makes a great bag for the office.

What I loved most about the Jeanne Beker collection at The Shoe Company was how well each piece was beautifully designed to work well with an existing classic wardrobe but are still drool worthy all on their own. As well, affordability is also very important to me so I appreciate that these quality pieces were available at a great price point.

What do you think of this collection and collaboration? Do you see anything you like?

****If you have a moment I’d appreciate your vote to become Canada’s Island Connoisseur to Tobago!***

  • Lately, I’ve been feeling a more subtle look. ☁️ Swapping out the black winged liner for a smidge of grey; trading in the full-coverage base for something a little softer. • Lip balm that changes color depending on your skin’s pH?! @winky_lux pH Lip Balm goes on clear, then transforms to a perfect color based on your skin’s pH (level of acidity). It’s so fun to see what color the balm becomes! It’s giving major mood ring vibes The formula is silky (not sticky), and the color lasts pretty well! So far, I’m impressed. • In case you haven’t heard (lol), it’s the @sephoracanada sale! A perfect time to explore new products - here are three of my top picks! @danessa_myricks @lysbeautyofficial @patmcgrathreal For more info on why I love each of these brands, check out my post about Black-Owned Beauty Brands on the blog! —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #sephorasale #blackownedbeauty #danessamyricks #yummyskin #patmcgrathlabs #lysbeauty #luxurybeauty #crueltyfreebeauty #torontopr #bloggersofontario #beautywishlist #sephoravib #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors
  • Nail extensions that last weeks but don’t damage your natural nails?!?! Check out the process for getting Après-X nail extensions! There aren’t many salons in Toronto that offer this service, but so far, I’m a fan! I love bio-gel, but I have the WEAKEST nails, so after I get the extensions removed, my nails shred and take forever to grow back out. I heard about this soak-off style, and couldn’t wait to check it out for myself! I haven’t gotten them removed yet, but I’ll update you all when I do! ✅ durable like bio-gel ✅ light and thin ✅✅✅
