Lady Speed Stick and Vacation Dreaming Again

Posted on April 1, 2014March 30, 2020 by Elaine

***Note that this is a sponsored post for Lady Speed Stick Nutra-Skin***

My facebook time line is filled with photos of friends in summer dresses, pools, beaches and palm trees. It’s making me go stir crazy! I don’t have any vacation plans but it got me thinking back to warmer days and vacation dreaming again.

Elaine-Ft-Lauderdale (2)

This photo was from a couple years ago when we were passing through Ft. Lauderdale. I go to Florida often but normally stay in the Tampa and Orlando areas. I thought back to this vacation and I remember on this trip (like many others) that there is always one essential I forget to pack….

Deodorant.  Yup. It’s a bad habit of mine and let me explain why. This might be too much information but I don’t wear deodorant on the daily. I just don’t see the need when I’m doing my everyday things like running errands. So that’s why I ALWAYS forget to put it on my list of things to pack and end up just buying some random deodorant while on vacation because I’m usually out all day and (if I’m lucky) in the heat and humidity.

 Lady-Speed-Stick

I was recently sent the new Lady Speed Stick Nutra-Skin with vitamin E to test out.

I didn’t realize how neglected the underarm area is. We moisturize every other part of our bodies but our arm pits don’t get the same love as everywhere else. I have to admit that after using this product for a week I noticed the skin on my underarm area was less flaky and dry. (I didn’t even know it was flaky and dry until I started paying attention!) I also really loved the smell. I always have this thought that women’s deodorant either smells like baby powder or fruit – neither of which I particularly want to smell like. But this had a nice fresh and clean smell so it was not overpowering.

Some features to note about Lady Speed Stick Nutra-Skin:

  • Contains Vitamin E and over 30% of the formula is skin conditioning agents
  • Effective wetness protection
  • Fresh new scent
  • 24 hour efficacy
  • Invisible formula

I have to remember that keeping skin moisturized in the warmer months (hope they come soon!) is also important so it’s great that Lady Speed Stick Nutri-skin will do double duty in this respect.

This little tube will last me quite a long time since I’m not an everyday user of deodorant so I’m hoping that it will accompany me on my next vacation! In fact, I’m putting it on my list of vacation items to bring so I won’t forget again 😉

If you’d like to test it out for yourself the Lady Speed Stick Nutra-skin retails for only $2.99 at major retailers across Canada and there’s a special offer happening on SnapSaves now.

Florida-Sunset

In the meantime, I’ll keep daydreaming of seeing this Florida beach sunset again…sigh!

  • This is a long video, and a change from our typical content, but it’s something I really wanted to hear your thoughts on. Did this sports team miss an opportunity? Was my student’s question too tough or unrealistic? We still had lots of fun at the pep rally, but the rewording of this question really bugged me. Is “follow your dreams” a satisfying answer in this case? —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #womeninsports #feminist #sexism #aagpbl #domore #mlb #sexisminsport #likeagirl #femaleathlete #foodforthought #bluejays #tbjwintertour #torontobluejays
  • ✨ REST IS PRODUCTIVE ✨ @adam__malek got me this sticker for Christmas, and I genuinely cried when I saw it. I need the reminder. The idea that productivity = self-worth is so damaging, and one that is often marketed heavily in the new year. I struggle with the “I haven’t been busy enough to deserve a rest - guess I’ll just take on too many projects and then revenge procrastinate because of burnout and get no sleep, then scramble and feel like I need to do even more!” cycle. I feel compelled to list everything I’ve done on the weekend
