Nothing gets me more excited for a new season than a new collection! As cold as it is outside (and it’s getting colder this week, ugh) I’m looking forward to shopping the current and new collection at LOFT.
I was invited to the preview to check everything out. I’m not sure if they do that purposely because they know my wallet will be drained or what, but there were definitely some stand out items for me!
Lighter fabrics for suits and lighter colours! How pretty is this blush pink? Notice, the jackets hit at the hips and the lapels are long. The cropped pants are perfect for spring and summer!
I’m also loving the new twist on the white shirt. Crisp shirts never work for me – they are too stiff and they never fit me in the bust area (too big!) and for many of my friends there is always a gap at the buttons. This pretty shirt is soft and has the subtle black detailing.

Speaking of shirts – turns out the softer shirt is on trend at LOFT when it comes to casual wear. I loved all these shirts in different shades of chambray. I actually don’t own a denim shirt so I think one is for sure on my list!

What I think I love best about LOFT is that all their pieces are classic and very wearable but they always have pretty little details to them. Here I am checking out the soft shirts and moving on to the pretty blush pink blouse.
Pretty right? The striped dress next to it also caught my eye.
I can see this dress working for so many occasions! You could wear it to the office with heels, out to dinner with boots and great jewellery and also throw on flats and a cross body purse for weekend shopping!

Moving more into March it’s about playing up the denim colours. I love all these pieces – even the shorts and I’m sooo not a shorts girl!
Keeping with the theme of everything being soft to the touch, these denim pieces are no exception! I love the structure of these pants – they look like office pants but are made more casual in the denim colour. And check out the Summer “Canadian Tuxedo”!

Ack – lace! My weakness! I love that jacket paired with the all white ensemble underneath. And the dress on the right? Too pretty!
But of course – if you follow me on instagram or twitter you’ll know this was my favourite piece! Crossing my fingers it comes in petites – but at the same time…do I REALLY need more lace dresses?!?

Other great pale pieces! That dress in the middle is just too pretty for words. Makes me look forward to summer – sigh.
