So…here’s a question…how do you come up with blog post titles? This title is based on the main colours of this outfit – nothing creative here! I was inspired by Kelly’s use of colour from Petite Fashion Challenge #5 . I just LOVED how the mustard cardigan was paired with the turquoise necklace – such a great colour combination!
Cardigan: Gap XS (similar style in other colours)
Top: mark by Avon
Belt: Danier XS
Jeans: Gap Jean Leggings size 00R
Boots: Miz Mooz size 7
My earrings!
From Avon! (here)
And my necklace a present from my husband when we went to Jamaica 🙂
You may have noticed that this outfit is similar to this one – I switched up the skirt for jeans ;)I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all of you that took the time to comment on my last post. It really and truly means a lot to me. I have a lot to think about. I think for the most part I AM still scared to come out to my real life people ESPECIALLY my co-workers for some reason. At the same time I have shared my blogs with my friends and none of them are even interested LOL. Which makes me think that my co-workers probably wouldn’t be interested either 😛 I think I might move forward with a couple of steps. First I should my own domain name for this blog. Second, I think I might take some of your advice and post a couple of outfit posts on my other blog and just see what the reaction is. I wonder if there is a way to combine both blogs and keep both domain names? Hmmm…something to think about and investigate! In the mean time, things will remain the same but I might be tweaking and playing around in the background 😉
You look very nice in that outfit. Not sure if the earrings are supposed to be real turquoise. If so, I hate to break it to you but they’re not. Necklace doesn’t seem real either but I’m not 100% certain. Anyhow I’m sure you don’t care for my rambling. Take care!
I love mustard…..and the jewels are fabulous…thanks for stopping by today…Im always peeking in on you too!!
Great blog, I just started following 🙂

Great colour combination! I’m always trying to wear more colour but I default to black so much! Thanks for the inspiration!
Love this combination, especially the subtleness of it all. Very classy. Great boots too, by the way!
Love the turquoise and mustard! I actually wore a turquoise necklace with a light lemony yellow top the other day and was struck at how nice the turquoise popped too. Must try this with my mustard cardis!
The turquoise looks absolutely lovely with the mustard! I especially like your earrings!
I *think* there’s a way to cross-post somehow using a feed so that both blogs would get updated at the same time BUT I don’t know any specifics – maybe this will help you if you want to keep both domains?
hi there!!!!
what an amazing blog…
if you want we could follow each other….let me know…

Glad I’m not the only one that has trouble with blog post titles. I feel so unoriginal 😛
@Cee hahaha Cee your titles are always great and witty!
@Anjela hahahah! Yes IKEA! Love it!
OMG Anjela, thank you for your kind words. People like you and all the friends I’ve made keep me blogging! I actually do the same as you – I do tell people about my beauty blog as I want “regular” people as opposed to just bloggers to read it too. I don’t so called promote this blog at all, but I have so many more public readers LOL!
@grace I know such a hard decision isn’t it Grace? ack!
@Stylepint
Thanks Jess! I think I emailed you – I might be asking your expert advice 😉
Most of the time I just title my posts using the first thing that pops into my head about the outfit I’m wearing. If I get really stuck, I just refer to a song or movie title 🙂
I love this mustard and turquoise colour combination. These earrings are gorgeous. I love how big and dangly they are. They look great with your up do. And I want to steal this belt from you 🙂
Coming up with post titles is the worst! I tend to just use the first stupid thing I come up with, then start the post by acknowledging how stupid it is. 😉 I just have fun and roll with it.
Your jewelry is beautiful! I’ve been looking for turquoise but haven’t found anything I like yet. I’ll have to give Avon a try.
Isn’t a great combo? Another favorite of mine, speaking of turquoise, is turquoise with coral…try it next time!
So very true, after you come out of the “blog closet”, you’ll probably find that most people don’t really care. I have maybe one or two friends who know me in real life who actually read my blog. Other than that, no one else looks at it or even cares…lol.
I love this color combo, Elaine. The Turquoise jewelry shows on my computer screen as powder blue. Very delicate and pretty. 🙂
I seriously love yellow with everything. Add in turquoise? I say more bright colors the better!
I have a hard time coming up with blog titles too. I usually try to make it into a pun… but it’s mostly a major fail. Sometimes it’d be a phrase that I used in whatever the topic of the day is. Sorry I’m no help!
About two domain names, stylepint said it best.
elaine– i think its a good idea to combine too. less stress for you!
love the earrings. they are so pretty!
Definitely love that color combination! My title’s usually come to me just before I publish! Lol
Just found your cute blog!! Your adorable, love this outfit!! Newest follower 🙂 XOXO
oh gosh, love that darn mustard cardi! I want! LOL
mustard and yellow…both are beautiful on their own and even more beautiful together!
i’m going to jamaica this summer…did you stay in montego bay or wander away? 🙂
Lovely outfit! And lovely living room too 😉 I have the same carpet! (oh Ikea, gotta love it!)
I’ve just discovered your blog and I think you’re doing a fabulous job. That being said, I understand your hesitation to share all of your blog activities with the outside world because those are people you see every day, or often anyways. I try this approach: I don’t hide my blogging, but I don’t necessarily share it or talk about it all the time to all of my friends. I just mention it, and if anyone is interested they can check it out! But, if do decide to keep it private, I think the fact you have as many followers as you do shows that many people admire your style and your blogging abilities, and at the end of the day, all that matters is that you enjoy what you’re doing!
your newest follower 🙂
Cute outfit!! Love the color combo!

oh what a great color combination! i need more turquoise in my wardrobe. your hubby has such great taste in jewelry!
cute & little
Your jewelry is such a gorgeous muted turquoise!!
As for as post names go…I just post the name of the item I am wearing. :p I am not a creative person…not at all! :p
LOVE the mustard top over the white shirt. I especially love those turquoise earrings – quite a statement, and matches nicely with your necklace.
Take your time deciding with the blog thing. I don’t think most of my friends would care about my style blog, and most people who follow me on twitter don’t care about clothes except my petite blogger friends. I think I may still come up with a new twitter login once I’ve figured a domain name out…
I think it’s great that you’re merging your blogs together.
As for me, I’m a blogaholic…I probably have 5 scattered across the blogosphere about so many different things from fashion to food to fitness, etc. But my fashion one is my main one and I only write in the other ones when the mood strikes me. Out of my close friends and family, only my sister and my bf know about my blog. However, my BF has been promoting my site to all his friends and colleagues so I’m fine with that. Most of my friends aren’t into fashion or blogs, so I don’t think they really care even if they knew.
But as for the serious stuff, you can pick a domain name and have the two blogs point to the same site. You have to set up the redirect, but it’s possible. It would be best to have one main domain name so people don’t get confused. =)
