It’s that time of year again! You guys know how excited I get about the One Of A Kind Show. I’m not even sure I can pin point the one thing about the show that I love so much. Seeing all the unique and beautiful items of course is one thing.
But I think it’s just taking my time, walking casually down each row and seeing what peaks my interest. It’s so much less stressful than being at the mall and meeting all the artisans (some of which have become “real life friends”) is also amazing!
I attended the media breakfast on opening day and was treated to a yummy breakfast by Woods Restaurant.
This hearty meal was needed as I needed plenty of energy to shop. And a good meal is made even better when catching up and chatting with blogger friends.
Here’s me with Justine of Whatever Eurotrash – we met earlier in the Summer and hung out a bit at Spark Sessions but I think this is the first time we actually had the time to sit and chat! I hope we’;l we’ll have plenty more opportunities soon!
During breakfast we learned that among the plenty of unique items to browse and purchase this year the One of a Kind Show is offering gift wrapping services by Scotch Brand Tape as well as daily gift wrapping services.
Also a fun feature at the show – daily figure skating performances! And a very special performance by Josée Chouinard will take place on Sunday December 8th (the last day of the show!) at noon with a meet and greet to follow.
Here are some of my booth picks if you’re planning on checking out the show yourself. I plan on going back on Thursday evening for the late night shopping. (In past years there has been also free parking after 6pm on these days).
Bamboo Lily (booth X30) is always my go to for the cutest baby gifts ever! I have my eye on this new robe for a friend that’s expecting a baby boy:

And of course a stop to see Dara Dot Designs (booth X19) is ALWAYS a must!
You need to check out her new designs, I seriously buy a few every season – there’s always an occasion to wear them and they suit my lifestyle perfectly.
I stopped by the Love Fresh booth (S19) which I some how missed the last show!
I’m so glad I stopped by because they have yummy new scents (I fell in love with guava which must be brand new because I can’t find it online!).
Also exclusive to the One Of A Kind Show are these bath oils. I think I need to go back and pick some up for myself.
I couldn’t help but eye this lovely dress from Nude Clothes (J03).

Another great children’s clothing booth that caught my eye was Hanna and Nik (R05).
My friends with daughters had better watch out!
You may not know but my husband and I have a an obsession with squirrels. We love these cute furry creatures and spend a lot of our time together in warmer weather at the park feeding them.
I snapped this photo from Hilary Cosgrove (Z09) and sent it to my husband. Now I have to go back to the show and pick it up!
I can’t wait to pick it up and give it a new home!
I somehow missed the the Dot and Lil booth (F09) on my first round so I had to go back and see Anne!
Her vintage soaps are always such a hit! But if you’re a regular on this blog you’ll know my favourite product is the Rice Flower Oil – I wear it everyday!
There are these new gorgeous candles out – these would be such a great hostess gift!
Opelle Creative (O51) has some of the most gorgeous purses.
