It’s still quite hot and humid in Toronto but this weekend the rain just wouldn’t stop! I started the day out in this same outfit minus the blazer and I had sandals on. I don’t know about you but I HATE wet feet!!!! It’s so uncomfortable! I know it’s still summer, but I decided to break out my boots. They aren’t heavily lined so I wasn’t too worried about being too hot. We were just going to be out for dinner and then seeing a movie, but it required us walking quite a bit so I wanted to be comfortable.
I really love my the necklaces so here are a few close up shots:
So here’s a question – is this a “young” outfit? When I say young, I mean TWEEN young. Why am I asking? Because when I was at the restaurant I was asked by the server if I was also going to the Justin Bieber concert!!! ?????

On the other hand maybe the server thought you looked really old and were a “cougar”… 😉

@ Jen – eek!! I’m in my early 30’s 😛 maybe I AM dressing too young? LOL! Those are actually only 2 sets of necklaces paired together. One of them came with a bunch of different beads all layered together already.
I like your necklaces! did you layer a few of them together? 🙂 I also don’t think your look is ‘childish’… I’d say it looks appropriate for someone in her late teens/early 20s, which I am guessing is what you are… but just take it as a compliment! when I’m make up free I still get mistaken for a high school girl and I am 22, hehe 🙂

cute outfit…not young/tween at all. i love skinnies and boots…it’s my fave outfit for rainy days too because i hate getting my feet wet which makes me cold.

I agree with Nelah – prob just flirting with u. I think the outfit is great and not young. Altho, sitting down, he probably could only see your face which I’m guessing looks young. You seem to love those Avon/mark necklaces — do you sell?

It’s a great outfit that has a bit of edginess that makes it visually interesting but not “young.” Most likely, the Bieber reference is a joke…I’ve had that comment about my hair. =)

I don’t think it is young…”chic” maybe but not childish young. I like your melange of necklaces here, they work to elongate the look! It’s rainy as heck here in Boston as well…but not hot and humid. It’s 60 degrees and quite chilly!
