I haven’t really been able to keep up with the outfit posts lately – been coming home late each evening and it’s pitch black outside when I get home! This is a quick outfit from a previous weekend when I met a friend for brunch:
Jeans: Gap jean leggings 00 (find them
here and
here)
My friend asked me how I tied my scarf. I told her I googled it LOL! I found this site to be really useful and used the fake knot technique.
Any one have any other techniques for tying scarves?
I totally relate to the whole coming and home when its dark and not wanting to take pictures thing! That scarf is really cute!

What a great sparkly scarf! I looked up how to tie scarves on the Hermes website and it was quite useful, they had a pamphlet about it and everything! =)
Def. won’t be forgetting about you! I love your outfit btw! The long scarf looks perfect and makes you look taller too!
ps-I hope things are going well and it’s a happy reason why you won’t be blogging as much 🙂

I love that scarf and how you style it very much. It adds some festive and fun feel to the outfit without going overboard. That shade of red lips (crimson, red wine?)looks good on you too.
Cuuuuuute! Ok, I’m about to take off the scarf I’m wearing and try your technique. And your home looks so pretty! I’m going to poke around your blog to see if you’ve done a home tour… 🙂
beautiful sparkly scarf! and thanks for the link — i need to get more creative in my scarf-tying as the cold weather is coming to Texas!
Of course we won’t forget about you. Btw, stylepint posted that scarf tying link way back and I found it to be soo helpful! I had to dig back into her archives to find it again but now it’s bookmarked. Before finding it I had absolutely no clue how to tie a non-winter scarf.
That is one sparkly scarf! I love it, really adds to the outfit. 🙂
I’ll miss your posts while you are busy doing other things but I guess I should really think about what I am doing for PFC in the meantime.
LOVE your sparkly scarf…I know how you feel….its getting way to dark too soon….cute outfit!
