My friend Dara whom I’ve mentioned several times (Dara Dot Designs fame and owner of DesignHerCo) has launched a really cool subscription DIY jewellery + accessory box through her business DesignHerCo.
It’s called “Designher Kit” and it’s a REALLY cool jewellery and accessory subscription box for those with a taste for DIY-ing. I’ve always wanted to DIY but I’m honest with myself – I’m not very crafty! I think something like this would help me get started as it takes the chore out of crafting!
Some of my friends that like to make their own jewellery, home decor stuff or even those that scrapbook also have so much leftover material they don’t know what to do with it. This is what I love about these boxes – everything you need comes right in the kits!
A package arrives at your door each month containing 3 carefully curated jewellery and accessory projects – including all the supplies and instructions!
The (VERY) few times I’ve been inclined to get creative the most frustrating part for me is not being able to find everything I need in one place. I HATE going store to store looking for just the right item.
I’ve done a few features on Dara and I’ve been on scene at DesignHerCo (on Breakfast Television and for a DIY+shopping event) and I’m so happy that Dara is a Canadian Entrepreneur success story!
That being said – it’s really tough for Canadian and Toronto business owners so to help launch the Designher Kit Dara has taken to crowdfund sourcing via Indiegogo.
If you’re unfamiliar with Indiegogo it’s a site which allows the general public help fund an idea in exchange for some amazing perks (in this case FOUR pieces in your box instead of three).
The Designherkit will retail for $19+tax but there will be limited quantities available for $16 inclusive.
There is also a DIY starter kit which will retails for $29+tax and shipping but will be available for a limited time for $26 inclusive.
If you think the Designher Kit is a great idea the way I do, it would be amazing if you could show your support by contributing to the Indiegogo fund for as little as $5 to get the project up and running and spreading the word to friends and family!
Remember the saying – sharing is caring! And in this case the Designherkit makes an awesome Christmas gift in my opinion!
