STYLE NEWS: Timberland Introduces 40th Anniversary LTD Collection

Posted on September 25, 2013 by Elaine

Did you ever own the ever popular Timberland Yellow Boots? I know I did! Well…ok I can’t be 100% sure they were Timberland’s but I definitely owned a pair in this similar style! Timberland is paying tribute to these iconic yellow boots in celebration of its 40th anniversary and Ashley has all the details for you!

*****
Timberland Logo

Remember Timberland? They were the biggest craze in the 90’s with their eye-catching yellow boots. Would you believe that the company is over 40 years old? Believe it! Timberland has just released their 40th Anniversary LTD collection, proving to the masses that their footwear can withstand generations of style trends. Come take a sneak peek at their upcoming women’s 40th LTD collection.
Timberland Fall 2013 Collection Lookbook
To celebrate 40 years of iconic style and memories, Timberland pays homage to their best-selling ‘yellow boot’ in numerous ways. This collection will feature revitalized versions of two of their classic silhouettes – the yellow boot and the ‘Super Boot’. For both men and women, these collections are extremely exclusive. With a total of 1,973 pairs being made of each style, and with original numbering on the tongue, you know you’re buying a piece of style history. (Editor’s note: One style will be released each month starting in late September…but they will go quickly so pick up a pair quick if you fall in love!)
Partnering up with with The Rig Out, Noah Kalina, and Mr. Mort this iconic collection has been brought to life through a short-film and digital magazine entitled Into the Trees. Timberland is showcasing their throwback styles against the beautiful backdrop of New York wilderness.

The Fall 2013 collection is built with the rugged New England aesthetic that we’ve come to love from Timberland. These shoes are perfection for cooler temperatures and wintery conditions (Toronto in a nutshell?), and have a bit of a grunge feel to them. Very stylish!

Want a sneak peek at the Women’s collection? Keep reading for my favourites!

  Earthkeepers

I love these SAVIN HILL MID boots! The laced style is inspired by Timberland’s heritage, and the buckle on the top is a great eye-catching detail. Made of premium leather and 100% recycled PET lining, the boots are available in both dark brown and black. Currently retails for $220 – $240 CAN.

Teddy Fleece
These TEDDY FLEECE booties are so cute. Made with waterproof leather and soft suede, the teddy fleece lining provides extra warmth during those cold winter mornings. That dreaded walk to the office? Totally feasible with these warm booties. Available in dark brown, wheat, tobacco, and taupe, these currently retail for $140 CAN.

Trenton Ankle

I’ve seen replications of these booties in stores like Forever 21 already. These TRENTON ANKLE booties are made of premium leather with a lace up front that allows you to adjust your own fit. Even with the heel, you’ll be able to walk on these booties, no issue. Available in brown and black, they currently retail for $190 CAN.

Bethel Buckle

These might be my favourite of the bunch! These BETHEL BUCKLE boots remind anyone of riding boots, no? Made with premium leather and suede, these are long-term investments in terms of shoes and footwear. Whether your splashing around Toronto or sledding around the suburbs, these booties go with everything. Available in black and will retail for $230.
Which pair are your favourites?
(Editor’s Note: If you want to own a piece of Timberland history, starting on September 25th (today!)  they will be auctioning off pairs #1 and #1973 of each iconic style to help support the Rainforest Alliance’s Sustainable Tourism Program. Get your bids in often!)

  • Trying out @fentyskin’s Cookies & Clean Detox Face Mask! I love a good mask, and goodness knows my skin needs a bit of help nowadays! ➡️This is one of the products I featured in my blog post about Black-owned beauty brands. I love that it’s not too drying, makes my skin feel refreshed, is cruelty-free, and is part of the Clean at Sephora collection! Have you checked out anything from Fenty Beauty or Fenty Skin? —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors #blackownedbeauty #blackownedbusinesses #cleanskincare #fentyskin #cleanatsephora #claymask #charcoalmask #crueltyfree #crueltyfreeskincare #crueltyfreebeauty #torontopr #torontoblogger #selfcaresunday #skincareroutine #skincarejunkie #skincarelover #cleanskin
  • I got Botox! (Technically, I got Nuceiva, which is a different brand of neuromodulator, but does the same thing) I’ve been feeling uncomfortable with the fine lines on my forehead, and wanted to try out neuromodulators! It was easier and much less painful than I anticipated, but definitely was a bit of an emotional journey. ➡️ I got 24 units during this visit, at a cost of $11 each. (Cost will vary depending on brand of neuromodulator, the clinic you choose, and the person who does the treatment) ➡️ This treatment will probably last around 3 months, and then will
  • Fresh nails for Spring! This was my first time getting a dip powder mani. It was so interesting! Apparently it’ll last about 3-4 weeks. I like that I didn’t have to cure the nails with a UV lamp, and that there was less filing than with biogel. I decided not to go with extensions today, but that’s an option as well. So far I’m a fan! Do you prefer shellac, bio-gel, dip, or natural nails? —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors #springmani #dippowdernails #dipmanicure #toronto #torontonails #torontopr #dipnails #nailinspo #bluenails #shortnails #opidippowder #organicnailbar #organicnailbarto #kingwest #freshnails #nailstagram #simplenails #nailsalon
