Benefit Cosmetics Big Easy

Posted on March 20, 2014March 30, 2020 by Alysia

Have you heard about the latest and greatest product from Benefit Cosmetics? I had my friend Alysia test the new product “Big Easy” out for me and here’s what she thinks!

I am not one of the blessed girls with perfect skin tone – maybe I was in my earlier adult years but lately, I have been dealing with adult acne. It’s mostly gone but the remnants (aka acne scars/dark spots) are left behind. I need to put concealer on everyday but am not a fan of wearing foundation to even out my skin tone. I have tried other BB creams – one of them (who shall remain nameless) really did a number on my cheeks – acne breakouts that could not be fixed. Since this incident, I vowed to stay away from BB creams…until Benefit introduced their version of a BB cream: Big Easy.

 Benefit-Cosmetics-The-Big-Easy

Big Easy is a multi-balancing complexion perfector. It has ingredients that helps balance moisture and controls oil yet it soothes and comforts skin. When I first applied the creamy formula with my fingers, I was impressed with how easily it went on my skin and also when I removed it with my cleanser of choice (coconut oil), I could not believe how smooth my skin felt. The formula applies like a creamy liquid but dries like a powder. It’s not heavy at all and doesn’t look caked on. I used 06 Deep Beige which might be too dark for my skin but I rather look slightly tanned than have a ghost face. Big Easy really evened out my skin tone and it slightly covered my dark spots.

The additional bonus with Big Easy is that it contains 35 SPF sunscreen. I’m not good with protecting my skin from the sun but while I continue to use this product, I will be looking after my skin more since sunscreen is built into the formula. Overall, I like this product because it:

  • adds moisture yet controls oil. I have dry skin so I put on some moisturizer beforehand and did not get oily through the day
  • protects my skin from aging and the sun with SPF 35 sunscreen
  • has a liquid to powder finish that is lightweight and evens out my skin tone

I have a strong feeling that in time with daily use of Benefit’s Big Easy, my skin’s appearance will drastically improve. Since I am a huge Benefit Cosmetics fan, I definitely would recommend trying out this product.

  • You *know* I had to! Once I had my wedding hair & makeup trial, I put the look TO WORKKK! ✏️ To get a sense of how my look would perform on my wedding day, I did: ✅ a humidity test ✅ a transfer test ✅ a kiss test ✅ a food test ✅ a crying test ✅ an exertion test It was a ton of fun and really gave me a sense of how the look would handle the various stresses of a wedding day. The tests showed what worked well and where we needed to make some small

Two years feels like it’s gone by in an instant, and yet I can hardly remember what life was like before you came into our lives.
