Eminence Organics Review: Starter Kit

Posted on October 6, 2014March 30, 2020 by Alysia

Toronto Beauty Reviews has featured many Éminence Organics reviews in the past. If you haven’t tried this brand out you really should as they have some amazing high quality products that your skin will love. Alysia tests out the Age Corrective Starter Kit in her latest review.

*****

For the first time a long time, I made the choice to stay home on a Saturday night. All I wanted to do was sit on the couch and watch a chick flick (for those of you who are curious – I watched The Other Women and it was pretty hilarious). Now, when you have the place to yourself and your hubby is out, the one thing you need to take advantage of is taking this time alone to put on a face mask!!! That’s right, even though I am married, walking around with a face mask on is so NOT SEXY! So I fully wanted to take the opportunity to do a full-out skin routine.

If you’ve been looking for a new skin care solution you may want to try out this kit which is already available. Éminence Organics Skin Care has come out with the ultimate Age Corrective Routine.

Here are some of the results they claim:

  • collagen levels to be increased by 25% in just six days,
  • skin to appear tightened and firm in less than 5 minutes and
  • wrinkles + crow’s feet to dramatically soften in 28 days.

The Age Corrective Starter Kit retails at $79 and includes the following below. This routine is perfect for normal to dry skin types. I will give you my thoughts on the five products that come with the kit but let me tell you that in just 3 days of using the products, I can already see a difference in my skin. It’s brighter, firmer and soft. This is a huge difference because before starting off with the masque, my skin was dry, dehydrated, tired, dull and just overall, a wreck from drinking, lack of sleep, makeup, everything and anything you name, it was doing a number on my face.

The Skin Care Routine

Because my ultimate goal was to use the masque, I cleansed my skin first, then applied the masque. Later, I applied a firming fluid, moisturizer and eye serum. This is the suggested weekly cleaning routine. All products mentioned can be used twice daily except for the masque which should be used twice a week.

Monoi Age Corrective Exfoliating Cleanser

This exfoliating cleanser has gentle AHAs, botanical enzymes and finely ground olive seeds to wash away impurities and improve your skin’s texture. The seeds were so small but definitely got rid of any dry skin I had while also removing the dullness. I feel that I could use this every day because it’s very gentle and not as abrasive as other exfoliators.

Bamboo Age Corrective Masque

Now that my face was cleansed of impurities, it was masque time! The masque transforms your skin by increasing the collagen production, skin density and cell regeneration. What this basically means is that it is smoothing your wrinkles from the inside out. After leaving the masque on for 5-10 minutes, I removed it with a warm damp cloth.

Bamboo Firming Fluid

The next step in the routine was to add an extra layer of hydration by putting on this firming fluid before the moisturizer. It deeply penetrates the skin to boost collagen but also to lift and firm. By this point, I could already see how hydrated my skin was becoming and I haven’t even applied the moisturizer yet.

Coconut Age Corrective Moisturizer

First of all, this smells wonderfully delicious. Secondly, you only need to use very little of this moisturizer since it’s packed with hydrating elements to nourish the skin. This product plumps from the inside out.

Neroli Age Corrective Eye Serum

The last step…we can’t forget about the eyes. And as I like to say, your eyes give away your age. So at a young age, you need to start using eye cream. I started using eye products religiously at 25 and guess what, I still look like I am 25.  This serum will erase crow’s feet and the fine lines that surface around the eyes.

These five products come in the starter kit and I also think it’s a great introduction to the Éminence Organics line if you haven’t given it a try yet. The book of products is endless with many options for skin types, scents, and every kind of product you would need for your body and face. I do think that they should add the Neroli Age Corrective Hydrating Mist to the starter kit. I have learned and experienced that adding moisture when the skin is slightly damp, locks the moisture in and the mist also gives the energizing boost needed in the mornings.

I am overall very impressed with this line and I can’t wait to see how my skin turns out after using all products for two weeks straight. It may be pricey but I am really liking the outcome. I should also note that the starter kit would be a great companion for when you are travelling.

Have you experienced Éminence Organics? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

  • Fresh nails for Spring! This was my first time getting a dip powder mani. It was so interesting! Apparently it’ll last about 3-4 weeks. I like that I didn’t have to cure the nails with a UV lamp, and that there was less filing than with biogel. I decided not to go with extensions today, but that’s an option as well. So far I’m a fan! • Trying out @fentyskin’s Cookies & Clean Detox Face Mask! I love a good mask, and goodness knows my skin needs a bit of help nowadays! ➡️This is one of the products I featured in my blog post about Black-owned beauty brands. I love that it’s not too drying, makes my skin feel refreshed, is cruelty-free, and is part of the Clean at Sephora collection!
