How do you like to spend a cold winter night? I like to invite some girlfriends over and have a sleepover. Yes, we’re all adults, but sleepovers are still pretty fun! We watch movies, eat popcorn, drink wine (we are adults, after all!), and play around with beauty products. Face mask sheets are an easy way to get a deep facial treatment while still hanging out with friends.
I invited 3 of my friends over for an ultimate girls’ night in! We each tried out one mask from Skin Republic: Collagen Serum, Vitamin C, Anti-spot & Blemish, and Platinum Lift.
The Collagen Serum face mask sheet is an anti-aging mask that gives your skin a moisture boost. It contains collagen, elastin and vitamin E to rejuvenate elasticity and tone. Your skin ends up feeling firm and fine line are reduced.
Vitamin C is a brightening mask that evens tone. It reduces the visible appearance of age spots and imperfections. Whenever I hear “brightening”, though, I think “whitening”, so I gave this one to one of my caucasian friends to test out. She said that she really liked the way her skin looked so luminous after she took it off and rubbed in the remaining serum.
The pore refining anti-spot & blemish mask cleanses with salicylic acid, but keeps your skin calm with witch hazel and tea tree. Redness is reduced and you have a lower chance at another breakout.
Finally, there’s the Platinum Lift. This firming mask contains ingredients such as trehalose (a sugar molecule used to moisturize) and pomegranate (full of antioxidants) to protect the skin against environmental stressors. It lifts and firms the appearance of the skin, enhancing texture and elasticity.
Face mask sheets are a fun way to incorporate beauty into any sleepover. They can look a bit scary when you’re wearing one, but you’re not the only one in the room! Plus, application is always even and cleanup is a breeze.
Consider trying one of these Skin Republic face masks the next time you have a girls’ night / sleepover (or just have a quiet night in)!
…they also make GREAT stocking stuffers!
What are your favourite face sheet masks?
I love to wear a sheet mask. I just fell so pampered and relax. I have tried so many… Honestly there’s only been maybe two that I saw results from. I just like wearing them lol. I may as well give these a try too!!!!!
I have very quickly become obsessed with sheet masks! They all sound great, I will have to give these a try!
I love sheet masks…it is hard to chose just one! For mass/drugstore is Garnier Sheet Mask! I like the color code system so you can find the right mask for you!

There are so many out there, it IS hard to choose a favourite! I’ve tried the Garnier dark spot one – I love how it makes my skin feel!
I love sheet mask. I need to keep my eye out for this brand. My favorite is the Bio Republic.Awesome mask.
I know, I’m a big fan of sheet masks too. Especially when travelling!
Ah! I’ve been meaning to do this with a few girlfriends, I always get those cheap ones from Walmart though. I’d love to try this brand. I could really use that Vitamin C mask.
How do those ones work? I’m sure as long as the ingredients in them are good (and it’s not just water!) they would work well 🙂
I actually really like them to be honest. I know there are better options, sometimes I do a real mud/clay mask. But for girls nights I feel like they work well enough.
I am yet to try a sheet mask but I do have some waiting in my stash to give a go! xxx
Oooh you need to try them! I was skeptical when they first starting appearing but now I’m sold!
They sound terrific, and yes, a great idea for stocking stuffers. Gotta keep an eye out for Skin Republic (love the name!)
Ha I know – I’m a fan of the name too!
Yes! I just had an adult sleepover and it was awesome! We used a different brand of face masks and we painted nails but it was great! I would like to check these out next time, though
Sounds like a great night!!!
I like your “adult sleepover” so I will use it
🙂
Awesome post Elaine! I’ve never heard of Skin Republic before but all of the masks you shared sound fantastic. xo
Thanks Brigette! My bad, Sohnee actually wrote this post! 🙂
