I first met LoLa in the Fall of 2021. I had just adopted a dog who was – to put it mildly – struggling with the transition, and I was in desperate need of a trainer. While I initially sought LoLa out based on her expertise in animal behaviour, I realized pretty quickly that we had a ton in common, and we’ve been friends ever since!
LoLa is always interested in trying out new things, learning as much as she can, and helping others. She’s open-minded and never afraid to share what she really thinks. Her humour, kindness, and advice will guide you well – I’m thrilled to welcome her to the TBR family!
Here’s a bit more about LoLa:
LoLa Rue grew up on dancing. She turned in her stage makeup for sunscreen and a career in the outdoors. The science and history of skin and hair care have become her latest obsession.
She historically has gravitated to neutrals in makeup and taming her rambunctious curls. She’s learning to embrace vibrant colors and her hairs natural texture while unlearning society’s beauty standards.
When she’s not playing around with new skincare, you can find LoLa playing with her dog, learning about cults and psychology, or diving into an adventure.
