C.W. Beggs & Sons Energy+ Routine

Fresh-Faced for Fall with C.W. Beggs & Sons

Posted on September 27, 2021September 26, 2021 by DJS

After a year and half of consuming Covid-19 statistics and managing pandemic stress, everyone’s skin is looking a little weary. I have been using the same line of cleansers and moisturizers for years, so I was thrilled to check out the products from C.W. Beggs & Sons and see if their Energy+ line could give my skin a much-needed boost. Read on to find out more about my experience with the products!

{Fresh-Faced for Fall with C.W. Beggs & Sons}

Disclaimer: The products reviewed below were provided to me at no cost for editorial consideration. All opinions are my own.

C.W. Beggs & Sons was established in 1874, and with that kind of longevity, I knew the products would be high-quality. The products arrived in a travel tote, and contained a travel-sized Energy+ Face Wash, a travel-sized Face Scrub and a full-sized Energy+ Moisturizer.

Energy+ Face Wash

I was eager to try the Energy+ Face Wash ($17 for 150ml) and used it daily as part of my morning shower routine. I loved how rich the face wash was, making it easy to create a gentle lather with even a small amount of product. In fact, over the course of the first week, I reduced the amount of product I used with each application by half! The wash is smooth and thick and it created a nice lather that felt gentle on my skin. I also really enjoyed that the face wash is unscented, so I didn’t have to worry about the fragrance of the face wash competing with my shower gel. The C.W. Beggs & Sons Energy+ Face Wash rinses off easily, doesn’t leave any residue, and has a gentle cooling effect after it has been rinsed away. It leaves you feeling fresh and clean.

Face Scrub

I typically don’t exfoliate too frequently, but since I had such a great experience with the Energy+ Face Wash, I was excited to use the brand’s face scrub. The C.W. Beggs & Sons Face Scrub ($17 for 125ml) is unscented and produces a lather with a small amount of water. The exfoliating particles are made of bamboo, and the formula is infused with Provitamin B5 to help restore your skin’s moisture layer post-scrub. The product was gentle but effective, rinsing off easily with a cooling effect similar to the Energy+ Face Wash. It left my skin feeling revitalized and smooth.

Energy+ Moisturizer

The final step of my skincare routine is moisturizing. I was glad that the Energy+ Moisturizer ($25 for 75 ml) included was a full-sized sample, since moisturizer is one of my key skincare products! Formulated with uni-celluar algae, and shea butter, this product has a great texture, spreads easily on the skin, and it leaves the skin feeling nourished and looking healthy. It doesn’t leave any shine and absorbs quickly. My morning routine is often down-to-the-minute, so waiting for a moisturizer to fully absorb is a deal-breaker. But with the C.W. Beggs & Sons Energy+ Moisturizer, I can apply and head out the door, knowing I’ve cared for my skin without sacrificing time!

Final Thoughts on C.W. Beggs & Sons

I used the C.W. Beggs & Sons products for over a month and noticed some excellent results. My skin felt rejuvenated, soft, and smooth. What’s more, the products are of such high quality that a small amount went a long way. The travel-size samples lasted more than a month of almost daily use!

In addition to being high-quality, C.W. Beggs & Sons products are thoughtfully formulated. They’re hypoallergenic, paraben-free, gluten-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free and cruelty-free, so you can feel good about what’s going on your skin.

Once these samples are finished, I will definitely be ordering more online and keeping an eye out for C.W. Beggs & Sons in stores.

  • ✨ REST IS PRODUCTIVE ✨ @adam__malek got me this sticker for Christmas, and I genuinely cried when I saw it. I need the reminder. The idea that productivity = self-worth is so damaging, and one that is often marketed heavily in the new year. I struggle with the “I haven’t been busy enough to deserve a rest - guess I’ll just take on too many projects and then revenge procrastinate because of burnout and get no sleep, then scramble and feel like I need to do even more!” cycle. I feel compelled to list everything I’ve done on the weekend

  • This is a long video, and a change from our typical content, but it’s something I really wanted to hear your thoughts on. Did this sports team miss an opportunity? Was my student’s question too tough or unrealistic? We still had lots of fun at the pep rally, but the rewording of this question really bugged me.
