{Giveaway Closed} Maddie’s Live Clean Faves

Posted on November 19, 2019March 30, 2020 by Maddie

We had so much fun giving away our Live Clean Fresh Water package last month that we’re at it again! This time, I’ve assembled 6 of my all-time Live Clean faves, and I’m giving all six products away to one lucky reader! Read on to find out how to enter this exciting giveaway.

Maddie’s Live Clean Faves
{Giveaway Closed}

Disclaimer: The products mentioned below were provided to me at no cost for the purposes of this giveaway. All opinions are my own.

It’s no secret that we love Live Clean here at TBR! Over the years, we’ve featured many of their products on the site, from special holiday-edition soaps to their luxurious Spa Therapy line. In fact, with so many products available, it can be tough to figure out which Live Clean products to try first!

Have a TBR-approved introduction to the brand by entering to win this prize pack containing 6 of my Live Clean faves!

Mineral Sunscreen

Wearing SPF daily is a skincare essential, regardless of the season. Since I tend to use more toners and peels as part of my cold-weather skincare routine, however, I make extra sure to wear sunscreen in the fall and winter. Live Clean Face Mineral Sunscreen 45 ($15.99) is a great natural option for this time of year. The Zinc and Titanium Dioxide create a physical barrier that protects against both UVA and UVB rays. No snow-burn here!

Deodorant

Natural deodorant can be quite divisive. Even amongst those who prefer eco-friendly beauty products, there is no consensus about which formula is most effective. My favourite natural deodorant by far is Live Clean’s Sparkling Citrus ($7.79). Botanicals of parsley, rosemary and sage are refreshing without being heavy, and the 99% natural formula is gentle on the sensitive underarm area. One application lasts me all day, and I love not having to worry about the effects of aluminum on my skin.

Super Fruit Waters Haircare

This time of year, I can finally let my hair down! Without the fear of summer frizz or spring rain, my mane can be free. (And my scalp breathes a sigh of relief!) Most natural haircare lines, however, aren’t up to the task of taming my waves. Enter Live Clean’s Super Fruit Waters Shampoo & Conditioner  ($7.79 each). These melon-scented formulas contain micellar water to cleanse and hydrate hair without weighing it down, giving you bouncy, party-ready hair in a snap.

Body Lotion

While I love Live Clean’s fabulous fragrances (and you all do, too, based on your comments from my last giveaway!), sometimes I need something fragrance-free. When I want a dose of soothing moisture without any scent, I turn to Live Clean’s Sensitive Skin Fragrance Free Body Lotion ($7.79).

The formula is light enough for daily use, and absorbs quickly with no residue. Chamomile and White Tea botanicals soothe irritated skin without adding fragrance. I keep a bottle of this lotion on the entry table in my apartment; a quick pump before I leave the house protects my hands from the cold winds outside.

Hand Soap

Since cold and flu season is rapidly approaching, I’m washing my hands even more than ever. While this is a great way to minimize germ exposure, it also means that my skin gets dry very quickly. While I always have Live Clean body lotion on hand, I also want to ensure that my soap itself isn’t too drying. That’s why the Argan Oil Hydrating Liquid Hand Soap is my favourite hand soap for this time of year ($4.99). Packed with nourishing Argan oil, plus olive leaf and grape seed extracts to protect the skin’s moisture barrier, this soap is your skin’s best defence against dry hands and pesky germs.

  • In case you haven’t heard (lol), it’s the @sephoracanada sale! A perfect time to explore new products - here are three of my top picks! @danessa_myricks @lysbeautyofficial @patmcgrathreal For more info on why I love each of these brands, check out my post about Black-Owned Beauty Brands on the blog! —————————————————————————— #torontobeautyreviews #sephorasale #blackownedbeauty #danessamyricks #yummyskin #patmcgrathlabs #lysbeauty #luxurybeauty #crueltyfreebeauty #torontopr #bloggersofontario #beautywishlist #sephoravib #mytbrfave #tbrcontributors
  • The big reveal!!! TL;DR - removal was painless and left my nails in a WAYYYY better state than with dip or bio-gel removal I did still have some trouble with the ends being thin (defs needed to trim the length so they wouldn’t rip ), but the rest of the nail bed was so much more comfortable and healthy-looking than when I’ve had other long-wear manis removed ✅ All in all, I’d say I’m definitely an Après-X convert! Especially as someone who doesn’t want to get a mani every month, this is perfect for special occasions. The nails were really
  • Nail extensions that last weeks but don’t damage your natural nails?!?! Check out the process for getting Après-X nail extensions! There aren’t many salons in Toronto that offer this service, but so far, I’m a fan! I love bio-gel, but I have the WEAKEST nails, so after I get the extensions removed, my nails shred and take forever to grow back out. I heard about this soak-off style, and couldn’t wait to check it out for myself! I haven’t gotten them removed yet, but I’ll update you all when I do! ✅ durable like bio-gel ✅ light and thin ✅✅✅
  • Lip balm that changes color depending on your skin’s pH?! @winky_lux pH Lip Balm goes on clear, then transforms to a perfect color based on your skin’s pH (level of acidity). It’s so fun to see what color the balm becomes! It’s giving major mood ring vibes The formula is silky (not sticky), and the color lasts pretty well! So far, I’m impressed.
