{Giveaway Closed} Apothekari Skincare Natural Deodorants!

Posted on February 3, 2020March 30, 2020 by Maddie

For many people, the new year brings a new list of goals to achieve. Over the past few years, one of my goals has been to use more green beauty and skincare products. And one of my fave green finds is Apothekari Skincare’s new Natural Deodorant. In fact, I love it so much that I’m giving away the full set of 3 deodorants to one lucky reader! Read on to find out how to enter.

{Giveaway Closed}: Apothekari Skincare Natural Deodorants

Disclaimer: The products in the prize pack were provided to me at no cost for editorial consideration. All opinions are my own. Giveaway winner will receive their own prize pack of three (3) Natural Deodorants.

Sweating is a part of life! A good workout, a hot day, or even a rush of anxiety can trigger our body’s natural sweat response. And that sweat is ostensibly a good thing, as it helps our body cool down. But this natural biological response brings with it some embarrassing side effects! Finding the right deodorant to stop both odour and stains, therefore, is key, and my go-to is Apothekari Skincare’s Natural Deodorant.

Why I Love Apothekari’s Natural Deodorants

Firstly: they work! With other natural deodorants, I’ve had to apply a few times a day to feel comfortable. But with Apothekari’s version, a few swipes in the morning is all I need to stay fresh all day.

Speaking of fresh, the fragrances are amazing. They’re luxe without being overpowering, and –  since they’re formulated with essentials oils – are worlds away from those chemical perfumes contained in drugstore deodorants. My personal favourite fragrance is the Grapefruit and Ginger, which is slightly spicy and bright. Rounding out the collection are the equally gorgeous Lavender Bergamot and Sandalwood Myrrh scents.

I also love that that these deodorants are healthy and good for my skin. Apothekari Skincare’s deodorants work by combining main ingredients of essential oils, sweat-stopping enzymes, and lactic acid to naturally deodorize and soothe underarms.

Since they rely on natural ingredients, Apothekari deodorants are free from:

  • Aluminum, which artificially blocks sweat ducts and causes those awful yellow stains on clothing
  • Parabens, which can interfere with hormone function
  • Baking soda, which can cause a painful rash on sensitive underarm skin (Trust me 🙁 )

In my months of using these deodorants, I’ve had absolutely no irritation or negative reaction. My underarm skin feels smooth, and the level of odour control is astounding. Consider me a natural deodorant convert!

Since I’m so excited about these deodorants, I want to share them with you! I’ve teamed up with Apothekari Skincare to give away all 3 of their Natural Deodorants to one lucky winner. That’s a value of $65!

  • Fresh nails for Spring! This was my first time getting a dip powder mani. It was so interesting! Apparently it’ll last about 3-4 weeks. I like that I didn’t have to cure the nails with a UV lamp, and that there was less filing than with biogel. I decided not to go with extensions today, but that’s an option as well. So far I’m a fan! • I got Botox! (Technically, I got Nuceiva, which is a different brand of neuromodulator, but does the same thing) I’ve been feeling uncomfortable with the fine lines on my forehead, and wanted to try out neuromodulators! It was easier and much less painful than I anticipated, but definitely was a bit of an emotional journey. ➡️ I got 24 units during this visit, at a cost of $11 each. (Cost will vary depending on brand of neuromodulator, the clinic you choose, and the person who does the treatment) ➡️ This treatment will probably last around 3 months, and then will
